Cleaning Every Room Everyday!


Cleaning every room everyday is not happy or doable for everyone or enjoyable thing to do. But I can tell you that the best thing was cleaning and decluttering make me feel happier and calmer from my childhood itself. But sometimes it's lazy to do everyday. If we do regularly or got used to do it, it makes it easier and when someone stops by unexpectedly makes us feel better and happier. It takes less time when we do it as our routine in the morning after everyone went out or with our little ones too. We can start with little by little first. I always have everything in my mind how to start and now i am reading lots of articles/magazines or watching makeovers or room ideas wants me to do specifically on a daily basis. I can tell you here what I used to do in a daily basis. But sometimes I am still working on my laziness too, I am also not that much perfect for some days. Here I am telling room by room.

Living Room/Family Room

  • Put the pillows onto the couch if not
  • Clear off the coffee table clutter
  • Pick the stuff off of the floor
  • Once in a week wipe the tables and the TV table, side table everything in the living room and vacuum the rug.

Dining Room

  • Always clean the table once you done with breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
  • Pick it up or sweep the floor or vacuum the rug if any spilled food or  any crumbs
  • Clean the chair if necessary
  • Always arrange the chair in the morning if its not in the correct position 

Kitchen

  • Clean the countertops after finishing the work
  • Clean the stove 
  • Clean the dishes
  • If using the dishwasher empty and refill the dishwasher as per your convenient timing but night time is good so that morning kitchen will be always clean
  • Get the fresh hand or kitchen towel if needed.
  • Empty garbage daily or every other day.
  • Sweep the floors daily or every other day
  • Wipe down the inside of the microwave every week or when needed
  • Clean sink (always I am working on that)

Bedroom

  • Make bed
  • Put away the clothes
  • Clear off the dresser
  • Clear off the nightstand

Bathroom

  • Clean off the countertops
  • Clean the mirror if needed
  • Clean sink
  • Wipe the toilet seat & rim if needed, clean every week
  • Restock the toilet paper & soap when needed
  • Get fresh hand towels if needed
  • Empty garbage every week


It may be a lot of work initially, but I can tell you it will be easier once you start doing as your routine and good exercise too remember that every time in your mind. And so much happier about your house after you've done this for a while. Do it for two or three weeks this new habit you will get to used it. Happy cleaning daily basis!! Let me know your comments.
